Macy M. Copelan, D.M.D.

Dr. Macy Copelan is excited to be practicing dentistry in Milledgeville and serving the people of this community. Dr. Copelan grew up in Madison, Georgia, and graduated high school from Gatewood in Eatonton. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from The University of Georgia.

She continued her education at The Dental College of Georgia where she earned her Doctorate of Dental Medicine. She completed an advanced post-doctoral General Practice Residency program in Augusta, where she was trained in advanced restorative dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, sedation and implant dentistry.

Dr. Copelan is committed to patient-focused, exceptional dental care and enjoys interacting with her patients and her awesome team. When not practicing dentistry, Dr. Copelan spends time with her husband, Cody, her so Brooks and their two dogs!

  • Registered Dental Hygienists

    Kerry and Teresa are top tier hygienists who show great compassion towards our patients, making them feel comfortable at every appointment. Our hygienists lead our hygiene services, from routine cleanings to extra-thorough "deep cleanings." Along with our doctors, our hygienists will be the faces you see each time you join us for a regular check-up. Both are great with anyone from children to grandparents. Quality of care is of utmost importance. They are loved by our patients of all ages!

 
 

  • Dental Assistants

    Sydney has worked in our practice for 5 years and really loves working chair side. Her warm personality will brighten anyone’s day!

    Kaye has been perfecting her assisting skills for years, while celebrating 42 years in our practice and serving our patients! She is loved by all and brings light to every room.

    The assistants work alongside the Doctor, Hygienists and Admin to make sure our day to day operations are seamless and delightful. They specifically assist the Doctor in complex procedures.

 

  • Office Manager - Sondra handles day-to-day internal operations. She implements protocols and systems within the practice. She directly communicates with patients about financial matters, treatment and payment plans and along with needs or concerns.

    Receptionist & Insurance Coordinator - Mel works as the mediator between our patients and the insurance company to help our patients get the care they deserve. She directly communicates with patients on scheduling and follows up on insurance claims.

    Sondra and Mel are the smiling faces you see as you first enter our office and will be the understanding voice on the other end of the line.
